How do I get there and what do I do when I arrive?

City Day Camps

You will need to get yourself and/or your child to the centre for the stated start time and collect your child at the end of the day.  Each day, an authorised adult will need to sign your child in at the start of the day and sign them out at the end of the day.  We will take responsibility for your child once they have been signed in until they are signed out and collected.

Please ensure that you arrive in time for the start of the course and collect your child at the specified time each day.

Mountain Camp

You will need to make your own travel arrangements to the centre.  If travelling by train you will need to book a taxi from the station – this will cost around €15 for up to 8 people. If you are travelling alone then let us know and we will do our best to match you with other travellers.

Payment of fees

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

All major cards are accepted. You can also pay by bank transfer should you wish.

Can I cancel my place once I have paid the deposit?

Deposits are non-refundable.  Payments made in full are refundable (minus the deposit amount) up to 31 days before the start of your course.  Beyond this date payments will not be refunded.

We reserve the right to cancel the course if there are insufficient student numbers.  We will do this no later than two weeks before the start of the course.  In the unlikely event of a course being cancelled, a full refund will be made (including  the deposit amount).

Does my child need to bring any pocket money?

Participants shouldn’t need any spending money and we don’t recommend students bringing money with them – except change for drinks and snack machines that may be available, depending on the centre.

City Camp students will need to bring a packed lunch.  We also suggest bringing any drinks and snacks they might want during the breaks.

Mountain Camp students may wish to bring a small amount of pocket money, but the course fees are fully inclusive of accommodation, meals and course materials.

Planning your week

Is there anything else I need to bring?

Participants will need to bring gym shoes or trainers, plus comfortable clothes for sports and activities.

If you are attending a day camp, we will let you know on a daily basis what you will need for the following day.

As these are summer camps, please ensure you bring a sun hat, sunglasses and sun cream.

We suggest you bring a water bottle and day camp students may wish to bring snacks for break times.

Your child may bring a smartphone or other electronic device – but this is at their own risk.  If you are concerned about loss or damage, please make sure you are suitably insured.  Please note that use of smart devices will be restricted during classes.

If you are attending our residential camp, you will need to bring your swimming costume and a towel, toiletries and sufficient changes of clothes, including a light waterproof.

If your child is taking regular medication, please check they have a sufficient quantity with them.

We will supply pens and folders, plus teaching materials, so you needn’t worry about notebooks and pens.

For various tasks and projects, Day Camp students may be asked to source certain easily available resources.  The teachers will let you know in advance if you need to bring in anything for a particular day.

Insurance, Welfare and Medical

Do I need to take out insurance?
What happens if my child needs medical treatment?

We have international public liability insurance, so your child is fully insured against accident or injury arising from negligence.

If you are attending our residential camp and travelling from outside Austria, then you will need medical insurance or an EHIC card (EU countries only). If you have private insurance, please make sure you bring policy details and contact numbers with you.

You need to let us know in writing if your child has any medical conditions that we should be aware of.

You will also need to provide written details of any medication that your child takes.

Before the course starts, we will ask for your written consent to administer emergency medication or treatment.  Please note that this is in the unlikely event of a medical emergency.

You will also be required to sign a consent form giving permission for your child to participate in certain activities.

Please note that we are not able to provide or administer painkillers or other medication.
